Irish terriers breed information
The class of Irish Terrier breed is very different. They look like the wirehaired fox terrier which is medium sized and well proportioned animal. Irish terriers are having most unique characteristics as well as features such as its flat face and log hairs. They have so much powerful jaws as compared with the animals having same size. They have a black nose and V-shaped ears which usually fold forward. The hairs on his ears are quite much darker than the rest of its body. They are usually about 18 inches in height and weighing about 25 to 27 pounds.
They have very bushy eyebrows with small and dark eyes but they are so much attentive and always keep on eye on their surroundings. From eyes they look like so intelligent. Their front legs are long, straight and powerful. Their tail is carried erect. The body of Irish Terrier is long; it is considered a powerful and intelligent dog.
The Irish Terrier should be whole-colored which are red, bright red, golden red, wheaten and wheaten red. On his chest there is small patch of white color. They are not so much careful and attentive in chasing cars or larger animals. One of its most important characteristic is so much brave. He is loving and caring in nature.
He is friendly in nature and is a good companion of children. He is energetic and vigorous. He is so much loyal to his owner and the family of the owner. They have a steady even temperament and are not hyperactive in their work. The courageous nature of these dogs makes them excellent watchdogs. They are strong will dogs which will always respond in an authoritative manner to a firm trainer. Due to their free-spirited nature, they might take a while to learn who their boss is.
